Area of Expertise: Aileen is design professional specialising in consumer product management, design management, product development, fashion design and retail, and trend forecasting.

Experience: A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Aileen also holds and MBA from the University of Westminster in London. Aileen has worked for 14 years in the Fashion Industry, and for 5 years as Head of Design and New Product Development with Ireland’s largest fashion manufacturer, Styletex Ltd, supplying Arcadia Group, Oasis, Geroge@ASDA, Wallis, Wal-Mart and A-Wear among others.

Aileen has worked internationally with clients, manufacturers and suppliers in Ireland, the UK, USA, Korea and China.

Most recently, Aileen has worked to develop a BA (Hons) Fashion Design programme for Griffith College Dublin in which will commence in September 2007.

Aileen is a member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI) and was a council member of the IDI from 2002 – 2005.
