Approximately 1,000 people received training on Dublin City Enterprise Board courses and modules in 2007. The funding through the FAS, One Step Up Progamme made the professional, high quality training available at a low cost.
The Dublin City Enterprise Board 2007 Training Programme included; 13 Start Your Own Business 2 Women Entering Business 2 Sales & Marketing 2 Financial Management 1 Management Development 7 Ideas Generation and Development 1 Grow Your Business (New) 4 Principles of Web Design/Development 4 New Product/Service Development 20 Training modules on topics ranging A total of 20 half-day training modules were run during 2007. The topics varied and were introduced in order to provide short awareness-building sessions to those wishing information on a specific topic of business or management function. This training initiative has seen over 985 participants sign-up in 2007 and the feedback on the programmes has been very positive and encouraging overall, so-much-so that we are embarking on a greater number of training courses for 2008. The variety of training options on offer is virtually comprehensive for today’s entrepreneur’s needs. The popularity of the courses and modules is a reflection of their quality, low cost and rate of referrals from satisfied participants.
