“I did DCEB’s Tech Check, so Brian Honan came in and ran the rule over our technology,” says Eoin McDonnell of Precious Diamonds. “He sat down and said the purpose of the exercise was to see how technology would help us do business. He highlighted things down the road for us like data sharing and back-up, remote access to our systems and so on. You really don’t have time to think too hard about these things as your running with your business. He analysed a number of areas he’d dealt with and gave us recommendations, so I found that really useful.”
