Aims of the Business Planning Workshop
This programme aims to help those with a business idea formalise the idea and document the way in which the business is to develop. It will help them to clarify the needs of the business and complete the necessary research to successfully start a business.
Workshop Content:
The programme will cover the following:
• The Business Plan Template
• The Core Components of the business plan including Market Research, Sales and Marketing and Finance
• The language of planning – ensuring the message is right
• The Do’s and Don’ts of Business Planning – A guide to completion
Outcomes:
On completion of this training participants will:
• Understand the standard framework and key principles of preparing a business plan.
• Develop a business planning process combining marketing, financial and management plans.
• Understand the marketing concepts, in particular market research, business and marketing and planning as they apply to small business start up and growth.
• Understand the selling process and be able to develop a sales action plan
• Understand the forms of business organisation and the advantages and disadvantages of business structures & the fundamentals of sourcing a premises
