It will focus on creating an understanding of the purpose of the Business Plan and thus the key information set which should be contained within it. It will highlight the language used and the issues to be addressed such as market research, financial planning and sales forecasting. For every new business there is a need to have researched the market thoroughly prior to business commencement and this programme will provide an insight into the ways to achieve this.
This training module aims to help those with a business idea formalise the idea and document the way in which the business is to develop. It will help them to clarify the needs of the business and complete the necessary research to successfully start a business.

- The Core Components of the business plan including Market Research, Sales and Marketing and Finance
- The language of planning – ensuring the message is right
- The Do’s and Don’ts of Business Planning – A guide to completion
