We are able to offer fairly significant subsidies for attendance (free registration, accommodation and meals). There is a matchmaking element as part of the programme and our Chinese colleagues are specifically looking for companies that would like to outsource to China. We believe that there are significant opportunities for clients in the software sector to make valuable links through participation. Ideally, the sooner we have enquiries the better as the flights are very busy, and we need to block book as soon as we can. The inclusive cost for the visit (flights, accommodation, registration and some meals) is €2,000. In the case of DCEB clients, we plan (through our Export Marketing initiative) to subsidise this further by 50%, so that the actual cost to qualifying companies will be €1,000.
