Student entrepreneurs from secondary schools all across the city are putting the finishing touches to their business plans and exhibition displays for the Dublin City Student Enterprise County Final on March 11th.
This eagerly anticipated final will be an opportunity for these entrepreneurs of the future to showcase the innovative products and services that they have been working on since last September.
The aim of the Student Enterprise Programme is to encourage innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit among students, by encouraging them to set up and run their own micro-enterprise.
Dublin City Enterprise Board runs one of the largest and most successful student enterprise programmes in the country. For example, the entrepreneurs behind the successful e-business company, Daft.ie, are graduates of the Dublin City Student Enterprise Programme.
At the County Final on March 11th, three student enterprises (across Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories) will be selected to represent Dublin City at the National Finals on April 27th .
We wish all student entrepreneurs the best of luck in their County Final on March 11th!
