Digital Exchange plays host to business owners

Digital Exchange plays host to business owners

NDRC (National Digital Research Centre) has announced that the second Dublin Start-up Weekend will be held on October 1st – 3rd.

The 54-hour-long event, which is supported by Dublin City Enterprise Board, seeks to bring people with great ideas for Web or mobile apps together to develop them from concepts to launch-ready systems over the weekend.

The participants - a mix of developers, designers, innovators and entrepreneurs - will have the opportunity to build a support community and to work together in a dedicated location to take their ideas and create real new commercial ventures. This event is also supported by Microsoft (premier sponsor) and Mason, Hayes and Curran.

Ben Hurley, CEO, NDRC said: "In keeping with NDRC's vision to create value by accelerating ideas to income, the event offers any entrepreneur who has a good mobile or web app idea the expertise and support that they need to bring that idea to a commercial platform".
To apply for a place on Start-up weekend, visit http://dublin.startupweekend.org/ by September 29th or register via LinkedIn on Register your interest on LinkedIn (http://linkd.in/dbYeza).
