Dublin City Enterprise Week

Dublin City Enterprise Week

Dublin City Enterprise Week runs from November 17th to 22nd and over twenty enterprise-focussed events will be hosted all over Dublin City as part of the largest initiative of its kind in the capital.

Organisers Dublin City Enterprise Board with the support of Dublin City Council, hope to attract over 1,000 entrepreneurs and ‘up and coming’ entrepreneurs to various events, including the Enterprise Support Day on November 19th.

Details of all of the events throughout the week are on www.dublincityenterpriseweek.ie

"Dublin is the engine of the Irish economy and has succeeded in attracting international financial and technological services to the city. It is the centre of a creative economic region, which attracts, retains and develops creative talent and harnesses creative assets and capabilities.

While the Dublin region has been successful in attracting many international firms such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo it is also very important to encourage ‘enterprise’ in the city. Events such as Global Enterprise Week are a very important way to encourage people to start their own business and help to contribute to the city’s success." John Tiereny, City Manager.
