Motorola Dublin Fashion Week inaugural Fashion Awards will take place on Wednesday 27th August 2008 in CHQ.
Fast approaching its 7th successful season, Motorola Dublin Fashion Week (MDFW) has firmly established itself as a key fixture on the International fashion calendar. Having grown in strength each season, bringing exciting new trends and events to the Irish market, MDFW are delighted to announce the inaugural MDFW fashion awards.
Catwalk shows have become an integral part of MDFW and this will be developed on for this coming season. Due to huge public demand from last season, MDFW will be staging another collective fashion show, which will be open to the public in the chq building, IFSC, Dublin 1 on Tuesday 27th August 08 and will showcase the current Autumn Winter 08 collections. Associate sponsor Lancôme will be revealing their key looks for Spring Summer 08 under the guidance of head makeup artist Jane Daly. TV3’s Lorraine Keane will be our guest host.

MDFW is a prime platform for new and emerging design talent with the John Rocha Bursary Award and this year’s winner, Tim Ryan, an integral element of the event.
The Talks – in association with DCEB, are open to the public and will continue to bring key industry figures to Dublin to follow in the steps of popular speakers from past seasons.
