EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair IV from 17th - 18th, October, 2009 in Crystal Hall, New International Exhibition Centre, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China
Our colleagues in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Enterprise Board are working with their Chinese partners, EUPIC, and are bringing a delegation of Irish companies to Chengdu (Sichuan province) to participate in a business match-making event in October 2009.
They are travelling (from Dublin, via Amsterdam) on Wednesday, October 14th and will return on Monday, October 19th. The match-making event takes place on October 17th & 18th. Companies travelling will also have the opportunity to visit the Western China International Economy & Trade Fair which starts on October 15th. Companies will be given the opportunity of specifying precisely the type of meetings which they would like to arrange and the type of Chinese companies that they would like to meet. Sectors covered are IT/ICT, Machinery Manufacturing, Biomedecine, Environmental Protection/New energy, Building materials, Agriculture/Food & Packaging, Aerospace and Tourism.
They are offering an inclusive package for the visit for a total of €1,750. This covers flights, accommodation, transfers, facilitation of arranged matchmaking meetings, English/Chinese interpretation at matchmaking meetings, pre-travel information seminars, some meals and a cultural visit. This cost assumes registration by the deadline of August 1st – there is an additional fee of €200 for registration after this date.
They are holding an information session about the visit, and about doing business in China on Tuesday, July 28th 2009, in Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel, Killiney – 10am-12.30pm (followed by a light lunch).
