Guest speaker, Evert Bopp will discuss the various forms of support available to early stage business ventures. Topics covered will include facilities, funding, mentoring and on-line & face-to-face networking.
Various support mechanisms currently being provided by state bodies will be considered as well as the incubators & development programs offered by the private sector and educational institutes. Funding opportunities such as CEB support, EI grants and Angel/Seed funding will also be covered. In addition, Evert will outline the benefits of mentoring programs, how they work and who should use them.
Finally, he will explore the huge benefits of networking (on and offline). Evert will give his own take on this low-cost tool that entrepreneurs can use to promote themselves, their businesses, their brand or product and to make invaluable contacts with long-reaching benefits.
