Family Business Conference

Navigating Through Challenges and Maximising Opportunities on Tuesday 13 December.

International speaker Professor Joachim Schwass of IMD Business School, Switzerland will lead this conference for family businesses.

Joachim is a leading expert on family business and co-directs IMD’s ‘Leading the Family Business’ programme. He has also lectured and conducted family business programmes around the globe. He is the author of ‘Wise Growth Strategies in Leading Family Businesses’ and has extensive knowledge and experience in this area. Joachim will discuss 3 key dimensions:
Family – Ownership - Business and specifically how to align the interests of the family with the ownership and objectives of the business.

We will also be joined by Philip Mackeown, Non-Executive Director, Musgrave Group. As a Family Council member Philip participated in the drawing up of the Musgrave Family Constitution and is a member of the family team educating the next generation of 50+ family owners. Philip was selected to represent his family branch on the Musgrave Group Board, in 2005 and will offer first hand experience and insights from the Musgrave Group particularly on family business succession.
