Fashion Photography Workshops at D-light Studios
The latest venture at D-light Studios is a series of one day workshops guiding anyone who is interested in breaking into the commercial fashion industry;
from photographing and styling, to make up and assisting.
The first seminar offers a fantastic educational opportunity led by Dublin's top fashion photographer Agata Stoinska and assistant and studio manager Aoife Herrity.
On this workshop Agata you will teach you how to:
• Approach potential clients
• Collaborate successfully with a stylist
• Find the right model
• Secure suitable studios or locations for shoots
• Communicate effectively with hair and make up artists
• Develop a striking portfolio
....and much more!
Then, Aoife Herrity will show you:
• How to target photographers to assist
• Basic knowlegde of studio equipment
• The ettiquette of assisting
• What is expected of an assistant on a shoot
...and more.
To conclude the day, atendees are encouraged to bring some of their own work for a relaxed critique; photos, tear sheets or rough ideas are all welcome!
