Final Countdown to National Women's Enterprise Day

Organised by the network of County and City Enterprise Boards, which includes the Dublin City Enterprise Board, this event is now in its third year and is the largest initiative of its kind in Ireland. Co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Irish Exchequer, the aim of National Women’s Enterprise Day is to help draw attention to the role of female entrepreneurs in Ireland.
The keynote speakers at the conference include the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms. Mary Coughlan T.D., Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green and Black’s Organic Chocolate, Social Media Author, Krishna De and Rita Shah from Shabra Plastics in Monaghan.
Speaking ahead of the November 20th conference, Eibhlin Curley, Assistant CEO from Dublin City Enterprise Board said: “If you’re thinking of setting up a business or if you’re already in business, National Women’s Enterprise Day will give you an ideal opportunity to get advice from experienced business people, share ideas and network with fellow small business owners and managers.”
Up-and-coming entrepreneurs will also be showcased at National Women’s Enterprise Day, such as Lesley O' Mahony from Babypotz in Cabinteely, Kilkenny-native Ann Kelsey from Econatural.ie in Kimmage, Limerick-native Marion Murphy-Cooney, a dress designer, based in Nenagh and New-Zealand born Danette Connolly from Nursing and Allied Services in Waterford.
