Free Breakfast Seminar on Emerging Markets

Learn about emerging markets in the developing world and the business opportunities they create on February 10th!

A free breakfast seminar about business opportunities in emerging markets, where the main focus is on International Financial Institutions and projects they fund is being held on Thursday 10th of February in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland on Kildare Street.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Gerry Breen will launch the breakfast seminar from about 7.45am, and the seminar will end at 10am.

There are multiple opportunities for Irish SMEs in these emerging markets, considering Ireland’s neutral political and military stance and our population’s ability to speak good English.

Guest speakers will include:

Seamus McCann, current Chairman of ConsultingIreland. Seamus will give an overview of the opportunities funded by the major institutions such as the World Bank, European Comission in developing economies worldwide.

Mark Rogers, Director of Cipherion Translations. Cipherion specialises in translating software, websites etc, into more than 40 different languages. They work alongside businesses as they try to globalise.

David Byrne, Manager for High Growths Markets for Enterprise Ireland. Enterprise Ireland is committed to the development of a strong export sector by offering flexible solutions to clients needs.

Michael Looby, Director and co-founder of Byrne Looby Partners. Michael is a civil engineer with extensive experience in contract design in Ireland, Eastern Europe and North Africa and has developed a vast knowledge of how to set up his business in developing markets.

Around 100 business leaders from Irish SMEs are expected to attend.
