Free Entrepreneurship Training at TCD

Trinity Research & Innovation in Trinity College is running a free Entrepreneurship Training Programme, starting on October 6th.
Aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs, who want to find out how to take an idea and develop it into a new business, this programme takes place at the Tower, Trinity Technology & Enterprise Campus on Pearse Street.
Programme:
Dates: 6th Oct – 8th Dec 2011
Module 1: Linking Innovation and New Venture Creation:
• Identification and validation of a business idea
• the importance of the team
• communicating ideas to non-specialists in your field
• marketing
• business planning
• finding resources
• developing networks to help you on the way
Dates: 12th Jan – 29th March 2012
Module 2: Creating the Knowledge-driven Venture
• provides the tools and skills to implement a business idea
• formalise it into a real business.
The ongoing Innovation Programme at TCD, to encourage new companies spinning off from research and teaching in Trinity College, is based on 16 years of progress in assisting college-based entrepreneurs to start up companies. Trinity Research & Innovation, established in 1986, has supported and been host to many successful start-ups.
