Eoin Conroy, Co-founder of Byrne Conroy Consulting
Eoin Conroy
Eoin Conroy is a founder and Director of Byrne Conroy Consulting and originates from Co. Clare.
His career to date has given him significant competencies in sales, marketing, research and strategic planning especially in the telecommunications and business of sport sectors. His project work includes the development and delivery of marketing and sales strategies and the management of a high profile clients on behalf of Byrne Conroy Consulting including Setanta Sports, Powerade, Opel Ireland, Martin Donnelly.
Previously Eoin worked with Vodaphone Ireland, where he was at the cutting edge of mobile phone marketing techniques, where he was involved at the early stages of both pre-paid and 3G technology. In his capacity as a Commercial and Product Manager for Sports and News Mobile Video Content, Eoin was involved in negotiating broadcasting rights with The Heineken Cup, Setanta Sports, RTE and Sky Sports. In addition to this role, Eoin was crucial to the design and implementation of a sales and marketing campaign to drive customer acquisitions including a Vodaphone GAA Mobile video campaign in summer 2005.
In his training role with Byrne Conroy Consulting, Eoin is actively involved in developing and delivering the suite of soft skills training in the area of marketing. With his experience Eoin is able to bring real life experiences and international best practice to the workshops he delivers. Eoin has also guest lectured in Michael Smurfit School of Business on topics such as Viral Marketing and International Marketing, in addition he has also delivered modules of the Start Your Own Business training on Byrne Conroy led courses.
Eoin holds a Masters in Business Studies (MBS) in International Marketing from the Smurfit Graduate School of Business in Dublin and a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Marketing from the University of Limerick. He has also obtained a Diploma in Sports Psychology.
