Want to start your own business in 2012? The Dublin City Enterprise Board has training courses, a ten-step approach and an animation to help explain all the supports on offer.

For those wishing to start their own business, Dublin City Enterprise Board and FÁS have combined to offer a Start Your Own Business course for individuals to obtain and/or develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the marketing and financial viability of their business idea/project. The course will include mentoring and membership to Sprint Start Network.
Start Me Up – Start Your Own Business
Date: January 16th - two nights a week over five weeks, Mondays and Tuesdays
February 21st – two nights a week over five weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 18.30 – 21.30
Date: February 4th – one Saturday a week over four weeks
Time: 09.30 – 16.30
Venue: National College of Ireland, IFSC, Dublin 1

This course is to provide individuals seeking to start their own business, the skills, the management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively. It will help individuals gauge what will be required in order to keep their new venture running effectively and efficiently. (FÁS training element free of charge by FÁS)

Mentoring and Networks
On completion of the Start Your Own Business course particpants can avail of three hours one-to-one mentoring with one of our mentors. Attendees will also receive one year membership to Sprint Start Network.
