ICT Businesses - Do the BRITE thing

Mentoring, networking and training specifically for ICT businesses are offered through the BRITE programme. The programme is starting 26th November for 10 weeks. Book now.

Dublin City Enterprise Board are pleased to confirm that we are now in a position to commence recruitment for the Brite Programme beginning on 12th November .

The Brite programme is aimed at ICT Sector Owner Managers AND, their support staff.  * See definition below

  • It is aimed at small enterprises with no more than 50 staff, however the company must have support staff involvement i.e. the Owner Managers attend training sessions and are provided with mentoring tools to up skill key staff. 
  • Support staff also attend 3 Networking Workshop events (see below).   
  • 20 companies to be recruited for the two programmes with 10 participants on each. 
  • Certification on completion: ILM for Owner manager and FETAC for participating staff. 
  • All mentoring and training will be carried out under contract to FAS from their panels.
  • Partners are four Dublin CEB’s together with FAS.  

Training:

10 evening sessions per programme.

Mentoring:

1. Owner Managers each receive 5 days one to one mentoring at place of business.  

2. Staff involved in programme receive 5 x 1hour one to one mentoring sessions from their Owner Manager who is provided with  the above-mentioned ”mentoring toolkit” to do this.

Networking:

3 x facilitated networking workshop events (to include key staff) with keynote speaker:

1.  Opening event

2.  Facilitated Workshop (work in groups on practical application of learnings)

3.  Final event where participants present in project groups as to how learning activity has progressed their business.

Technology:  those who develop and market technology-based products and services e.g. software developers

Mixed: Those who employ technology as the main platform for delivering goods or services to their clients e.g. online accounting systems

IT Service: Those providing IT installations services, training etc.
