Innovation Workshop for Innovation Dublin Week

This workshop is not only about recognising good and bad ideas but where to get the ideas from, including idea protection (intellectual property), patent searches,

generating and evaluating new business ideas through group work and individual exercises.

The main topics covered in this working session are,

  • A mechanism for analysing, evaluating and prioritising business ideas: the process/steps involved.
  • Setting evaluation criteria to filter these ideas (analysing, evaluating and prioritising process, including patent search)
  • Guidelines on testing the viability of the product/service idea, i.e. feasibility study, (focus group research with key buyers and end consumers)
  • Defining and building a business case around an idea
  • Participants feedback, Q/A time. Wrap up/conclusion

Innovation Dublin Week

Innovation Dublin Week is from the 14th - 20th October 2009.

Dublin City Council is hosting for the first time INNOVATION DUBLIN from the 14 to 20 October.
During thid week there are a series of planned events that take place around the city.
From business seminars and science demonstrations, to storytelling, workshops, music, concerts and virtual games – these events will bring the citizens of Dublin together to learn and find out how things work, to network and collaborate, and to promote enterprise.
