
InterTradeIreland supports SMEs across the island to develop North/South trade and business development opportunities for the mutual benefit of both economies.
If you’re not familiar with InterTrade Ireland, here’s a list of their programmes, funding and services:
Sales & Marketing
• Acumen offers funding worth of up to £15,000/€18,750 for companies to employ a salesperson or graduate who is responsible for developing their sales in their target market or to engage a consultant for business development or market research project.
• Go2Tender helps companies to compete for public-sector contracts across the island. The programme consists of two separate workshops with the option up to three half-day mentoring sessions from an experienced procurement consultant to assist with tender development and advice.

• Trade Accelerator Voucher Scheme - financial support worth up to £1000/€1200 towards professional advice in areas such as market research, taxation, employment law, currency, or regulation if you are considering doing cross-border business.
Innovation
• Through InterTradeIreland’s FUSION programme, support packages worth up to £29,500 / €33,150 are available for SMEs to undertake an innovation project within their company.
• Funding worth up to £250,000/€300,000 per project can be claimed by companies taking part in InterTradeIreland's Innova programme to accelerate new product, process or service developments through partnering with a company in the other jurisdiction (North or South).
Equity
For early-stage, export-oriented, high potential growth companies InterTradeIreland offer a range of services and supports to help firms access venture capital and business angel finance.
• InterTradeIreland’s annual All-island Seedcorn Business Competition is the largest prize fund on the island where companies with a new equity funding requirement compete for a share of InterTradeIreland's €280,000 cash prize fund.
• InterTradeIreland funds a number of Business Angel Networks on the island including Halo Business Angel Network (HBAN) and Halo Business Angel partnership in Ireland and Halo NI in Northern Ireland. These groups can assist companies in identifying potentially suitable and interested investors for their business.
• InterTradeIreland also runs a series of equity advisory events, workshops & masterclasses across the island including the annual all-island venture capital conference which offers a unique opportunity to meet and network with investors from Northern Ireland and Ireland.
