In previous years the various members presentations have been found by many to be hugely inspiring, and the line up this year promises to be equally inspirational.

All in all the IBW 2008 conference, which will be held in Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday 29th May, is a “must attend” event.

Don’t forget: the early bird gets the worm, or in this case the discount!

The virtual network www.irishbusinesswomen.com set up on the initiative of CEB CEO Frank Fullard in September 2006. It now has over 2,000 members registered, using it and actively involved in it. While membership of the network is open to female entrepreneurs all over Ireland, and interestingly we have a few overseas members. The idea behind the network was that members might learn from each other; support and assist each other, and share information, referrals, ideas and resources to their mutual benefit.

Membership is free, and is open to women who have started their own business, or are thinking about doing so; to women who run a business even if they did not start it themselves; to those involved in running a family business; to women involved in any capacity – even if it is purely a supportive one, in a partners business for example; to WAHMs (Work at Home Moms for the uninitiated), and to those involved in providing support for women in business. Indeed, individuals who feel that they do not fit into any of these categories, but still feel that they could benefit or contribute, are also encouraged to join. If you have any queries about the event please feel free to contact; Nicola Fitzpatrick on 094 9047597 or nfitzpat@mayococo.ie or Pam Conway on 094 9047587 or pbarrett@mayococo.ie
