Jennylynd James of Caribbean Enterprises Winner of the Rising Star Award

Jennylynd James of Caribbean Enterprises, won the Rising Star Award at the Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women award ceremony on Monday, 12 November 2007. Jennylynd is a food scientist with a PhD in food biotechnology.

Jennylynd sells Caribbean food to a range of stores including Cavistons, Donnybrook Fair, Fresh Ltd in Dublin and stores in Belfast, Cork, Carlingford, Wicklow. Laois and Waterford. She is also seen at Farmers Markets and did a cookery demonstration at the Festival of World Culture. In 2008, the business will establish a range of Caribbean products made in Ireland including a Caribbean Rum Cake. Earlier this year she won a prestigous Bridgestone Award.
