Small business is a key sector in our economy. We are acutely aware of the importance of fostering entrepreneurship in our City to ensure future growth and prosperity. In the current climate it is essential that we secure the future prosperity and vibrancy of our city. It is clear that supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs to realise the potential of their ideas will be central to this.

Starting a new business can be a daunting prospect. There are a range of organisations and supports available to help you through this process. The “Guide To Enterprise in Dublin City” is one of those supports. The guide is aimed at people who have a business idea and are thinking about setting up a new business, or for those who already own a business. It provides advice and practical information on how to set up a business, business planning, information on enterprise space, sources of finance, training and networking opportunities. It also includes a directory with the names and contact details   on the many support agencies and organisations in the city who can help you.

The Guide also provides information for aspiring immigrant entrepreneurs on how to access these services in various languages. It will be available online at http://www.dceb.ie/enterpriseguide and printed versions at Dublin City Enterprise Board, enterprise support agencies and the Ilac Library in Dublin city. Printed copies of the Enterprise Guide will be available for collection only.

R.S.V.P. to Eibhlin Curley, please email ecurley@dceb.ie if you would like to attend the launch. There is no charge.
