The next meeting of LINK!, our new network for start-up business owners and managers, will take place on 31st July 2007 at the National College of Ireland. The packed genda includes; Informal networking over coffee, Ten second intro’s when each member and guest will make a ‘mini’ elevator pitch and will pass on any potential sales leads to the other participants. The Best Business Book - a member will do a brief recommendation of a business, or business-related, book that they have found personally useful (Alastair McDermott) Get LINKD! LINK! member Seán Owens introduces LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a business oriented electronic networking site, mainly used for professional networking. As of July 2007, it had more than 12 million registered users, spanning 150 industries and more than 400 economic regions (as classified by the service). "How to Manage Your Money" Presentation and discussion facilitated by Padraig O’Fathaigh, Business Manager, Bank of Ireland, St. Stephen’s Green. Then structured networking will take place.This session is organised to make sure that you make the most of this opportunity to include as many people as you can in your own, personal, network.
