Dublin City Enterprise Board is holding a Negotiation Skills training event this March to help small/medium business owners develop and/or improve their skills.

Brief Description
DCEB will hold a module outlining the importance and relevance of good negotiation skills in daily business situations, with the aim of putting the methods learnt here into practical use.
The session covers:
• ‘Personality Profiling’ – using information to appeal to all types of negotiating partners
• Using effective body language, timing and questions and to put this into practice
• Application of bargaining tools
• Gaining control in negotiation situations & methods of overcoming obstacles
• Building good relationships and goodwill
You should emerge with a better understanding of:
• How to prepare yourself for talks
• the styles of negotiation
• How to gain control
• What are the right questions and when to implement them
• How to close the sale
