Network for Women: The Story of Avoca

The Guest Speaker at the September Event of the Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women on September 13th is Amanda Pratt, Creative Director of Avoca.

Title: “Avoca: The Story so Far” Speaker: Amanda Pratt, Creative Director of Avoca
Avoca is a family-owned company with successful stores, cafes and restaurants that employs more than 600 people in Ireland. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the London College of Fashion, Amanda is firmly entrenched in the creative end of the business and has recently developed Avoca´s accessories & homewares’ collection abroad. Amanda is also responsible for buying, marketing, merchandising, strategic planning, architecture and expansion, as well as designing for the Avoca Weaving Mill, which dates back to 1723.
Time and Date: Monday 13th September 2010 7-9pm (registration from 6.45pm)
Venue: The Oak Room, Mansion House, Dublin 2
This event will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr Gerry Breen.
The Guest Speaker will be followed by networking.
