This year’s Christmas networking event was attended by some one hundred assorted network members.  Members of the LINK! Start-up Business Network, the Enterprise Network for Women and the PLATO Programme left the recession outside the doors when they congregated this month for a rousing evening of celebrations and encounters .

Author, trainer and dynamic speaker -  Yanky Fachler - led the facilitated networking activities.  In a loud and lively session of close encounters, the intrepid Yanky (with help from his handy bell) made sure that everyone participating had the opportunity to meet as many of their networking colleagues as possible in the time available.

Many of our network award adjudicators stayed on for this exercise and were amazed at how polished and professional the regular network goers were at presenting themselves and their businesses.

Towards the end of the evening, the pace was more relaxed.  The participants indulged in some festive refreshments while the conversations continued.

PLATO participant, John Healy of Absolutely Organic, kindly donated a beautiful hamper which was duly raffled.  The lucky winner was Marissa Carter of Carter Beauty.

Gráinne Duggan of Art and Soul Photography was on hand to record the energy and atmosphere.  Gráinne’s images can be viewed at
