Are you looking for agents, distributors or suppliers in Europe? Do you need to know more about a specific market and don't know where to start? Are you looking for new business opportunities in Europe? If so the business matching service provided by the Enterprise Europe Network is intended for you.
As a member of a worldwide business support network, the Enterprise Europe Network at the Dublin Chamber of Commerce can source business partners for your company for the purpose of trade, knowledge exchange or research partnering.
Our Business Cooperation Database currently contains more than 5000 company profiles that are looking for Irish business partners.
One Dublin based SME that has taken advantage of advice and assistance of this Network is Chevron Environmental Limited.
Chevron Environmental Limited was looking for a solution for waste plastics from WEEE they found an Austrian company who has developed a process to convert various wastes into energy. Thanks to both Chevron Environmental Limited and the Austrian SME’s relationships with the Enterprise Europe Network they were able to confirm their mutual credentials, thus by passing a costly and time consuming matching search for both companies.
The Enterprise Europe Network office then assisted in arranging a first meeting. Subsequently, a new company, AGT Technology Ireland Ltd, was set up, to exploit the opportunity for both companies.
Brendan Palmer, Commercial Director in Chevron Environmental Ltd has become a passionate advocate of what the Enterprise Europe Network can offer to small businesses. He highlights that “It is possible for every company to send an email to the Chamber with a wish list of requirements and that using the Network they can find businesses which fit the bill”. “If anyone is looking to expand into the EU, it’s the first place to go”, he says.
