PLATO Advanced Business Development Forum

A monthly skills training programme facilitated by PLATO is starting this June and is taking place over 6 months. It will focus on leadership and operational excellence.

If you are a small business Owner Manager, you can apply for this training in order to:


• Develop your leadership skills
• Focus on operational excellence
• Find new business development strategies and techniques
• Put performance management at the centre of your enterprise
• Share your experiences of the ups and downs of running an SME

While no previous experience in PLATO’s previous programmes is necessary, the monthly meetings are designed for those that have completed the two year core PLATO programme.

• Date: June 14th
• Duration: Once monthly, for 6 months
• Venue: Sandymount Hotel @ the Aviva Stadium, Sandymount, Dublin 4
• Cost: €1,250

The program is facilitated by Damien O’Brien from SME Matters. SME Matters specialises in developing and delivering expert, practical relevant programmes for Irish SME’s which deliver bottom line growth and increased market share by developing the skills of the owner manager.

The course includes:
• 3 full-day workshops focused on developing new sales skills specific to SME Owner Managers
• 3 full-day workshops on Strategic Business Planning for your business
• Step-by-step excercises that will transform how you run your company and generate new business
• High profile guest speakers from the business community
• Group dynamics in problem solving for participating businesses

SME Matters aim to inspire and educate SME Owner Managers and give them in-depth support and access to business people through training and networking.
