Source Aisle at Showcase 2009
The Crafts Council of Ireland arerecruiting suitable clients for the Source Isle at Showcase 2009.
The criteria for Source Isle is as follow:
- High standards in design manufacturing
- Pricing matched to market opportunity
- Originality in design
- High standards in supports point of sale material and packaging
- A commitment to high standards in display
The Source aisle is an aisle of approximately 40 craftspeople, registered with the Crafts Council of Ireland, and exhibiting at Showcase who have been selected for quality of craftsmanship and design. The Source aisle has been described as a ‘corridor of excellence’ located just inside the entrance to the Main Hall of the RDS and creates an immediate impact for buyers as they come through the door.
The selection for Source 2009 will take place in Kilkenny on Wednesday, 21st May and we would like to encourage all craftspeople who feel that they meet the criteria and are ready to exhibit at Showcase to submit work for assessment.
