Start Me Up Business in Dublin City

Details have been announced of a new collaborative initiative between the Lord Mayor Of Dublin, Dublin City Enterprise Board and FÁS.

For those wishing to start their own business, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Dublin City Enterprise Board and FÁS have come together to offer a 'Start Your Own Business' course for individuals to obtain and/or develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the marketing and financial viability of their business idea. The course will include mentoring and membership to the Link Dublin Network

The “Start Me Up” Course
This course will provide individuals, seeking to start their own business, with the skills, management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively. It will help individuals gauge the amount of control they need to use in order to keep their new venture running effectively and efficiently.

Content

The programme will include  Modules on:
• Introduction to Business Planning
• Sales and Marketing
• Employment legislation
• Finance for Enterprise
• Taxation
• Business Plan Development

Timing: From 18:30 – 21:30   (10 Evenings)
2 nights a week over FIVE  weeks
Venue: The Mansion House, Dawson Street Dublin 2.
Fee:  €200 per participant (training element FOC by FÁS)
