Surviving the Recession - Advice from Dublin Business Owners

Surviving the Recession - Advice from Dublin Business Owners

Pamela Fitzmaurice from Blazing Salads shares some tips for surviving the recession...

  •  The recession can work in favour of some company managers as it is a time of being more aware of the costs within the company.

  • Check with your suppliers if costs can be lowered most will consider a price reduction instead of loosing an account.

  • Check with your landlords to see if you can lower the rent on your establishment.

  • Make sure your product is the best you can produce be it a service or a product so the customer gets satisfaction when parting with their hard earned cash.

  • Work out new credit terms with your suppliers and spread your payments over the month.

  • The revenue and county councils are very approachable about new payment terms to companies who might be struggling in the current climate.

  • Dont be concerned about other companies performance keep your eye on your own business and cashflow.
