The Virtual Enterprise Network for Women in Ireland

The Virtual Enterprise Network for Women in Ireland

It is well known that those involved in small business can learn from each other, can support and assist each other and can share information, referrals, ideas and resources to their mutual benefit.

Networking, whether it is done informally or formally is a key method for mobilising such peer-to-peer support. To assist further in this process a new web site www.Irishbusinesswomen.com has been launched The site is intended to facilitate virtual networking by members on any business issue they care to raise. It is based on the principal that “Givers Gain”. Membership of the site is free and is open to women who have started their own business, or are thinking about doing so; to women who run a business even if they did not start it themselves; to those involved in running a family business; to women involved in any capacity – even if it is purely a supportive one – in a partners business; to WAHMs (Work at Home Moms for the uninitiated), and to those involved in providing support for women in business. If anyone feels that they do not fit into any of these categories, but still feel that they could benefit, or contribute, they are also free to join! We invite you to visit www.IrishBusinessWomen.com and register to join. Don’t just leave it at that. Participate! Don’t even leave it at that – encourage others to join and participate also.
