Dublin City Enterprise Board would like to pay tribute to the late Kate O'Sullivan, Board member of DCEB and Chief Executive of the Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups. Kate 's funeral is taking place at 11am on Tuesday 22 May 2007 at St Patrick's Cathedral, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome
She took ill at work on Thursday and was taken to the Mater Hospital , where she died on Friday 18 May 2007. Kate O'Sullivan founded the Carmichael Centre as a centre for voluntary groups in 1988 and grew the organization each year since then. Carmichael Centre is now home to 45 voluntary groups and provides facilities and services for a further 350 organizations. She was a valued and long serving active member of the Dublin City Enterprise Board. She was the first female Board member. Our sympathies to her husband Pat and family.
