Vox Pop on Women in Business

Vox Pop on Women in Business

Just doing a quick Vox Pop on Female Entrepreneurship and need responses by Monday, 7 December at 11am.

Please let me know if you have any opinions you would like to share on the following issues.

  • What is the motivation for women setting up in business, and how this does (or doesn’t, as the case may be) differ from their male counterparts?
  • What has your experience been like as the female owners of successful businesses benefits, drawbacks etc?
  • What is your advice to other women who may be thinking of setting out on their own?
  • What impact did the boom years have on female entrepreneurship, and business practices generally, in Ireland and what are their expectations for the months ahead, now that we are in recession?
  • Has the lengthened maternity leave been a barrier to women's progress in business?
  • How the recession is having an impact on your business?

Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Please email your opinions to Eibhlin Curley, ecurley@dceb.ie before 11am on Monday 7 December.
