Advice and training are all available for good projects from Dublin City Enterprise Board. In starting your own business, you have a powerful ally. Even if you are at an early stage, we can help with advice and training.

There are training courses and modules, business networks and workshops to equip you with the knowledge you need. We provide an expert Mentoring services for suitable entrepreneurs. Financial assistance in the form of grants, loans and investment are available for qualifying businesses and projects.

Unemployed and Thinking of Starting a Business?

Dublin City Enterprise Board will host an open coffee morning to explain what supports are available to start up businesses and answer some personal queries. During the coffee morning session we will explore some key strategies to help you to recognise and manage your transition from employee to becoming a self-employed entrepreneur. Start Your Own Business - Library Talk

Dublin City Libraries in association with Dublin City Enterprise Board are pleased to announce a series of business lectures aimed at those contemplating self employment.The 2011 theme is “Innovation for Start-ups” The lectures will include novel ways to overcome some of the challenges of starting a business in these difficult times.For the first time we are including a lecture element on Ethnic Entrepreneurship to cater for the City’s diverse population. 'Start Me Up' Package - course + mentoring

For those wishing to start their own business Dublin City Enterprise Board and FÁS have combined to offer a Start Your Own Business course for individuals to obtain and/or develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the marketing and financial viability of their business idea/project.
