Through this County & City Enterprise Board competition students establish real life businesses and participate in enterprise competitions at school, county and national level. They experience at first hand the reality of a commercial environment and develop the skills and knowledge of taking a structured approach to running a business. They learn that running a business is challenging, exciting and rewarding. The experience they gain, the contacts and friendships they form are all invaluable in the years ahead.
We would like to congratulate 69 mini-companies from 26 counties who are the finalists at junior, intermediate and senior level this year. We would also like to acknowledge the support from link teachers in each participating school and to sincerely thank the judges for their significant input and the difficult task in selecting the winners.
