The Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women was set by Dublin City Enterprise Board specifically to provide such a network for women who have set up their own business.

This Network is run as a business support network for all female entrepreneurs. Members can use the network to promote their business, create alliances with other members, learn new skills, get help from members in challenges that they may face in their business and increase their contacts to encourage business development.
Members also have the opportunity to promote their business at each meeting by hosting a resource table, this is an exhibition stand to display products and information about services. Each resource table host will also have the opportunity to give a brief presentation about their business.
You can attend one Network meeting for free before paying membership, except where an event has been designated "Member Only".

2011
The winners of the annual Dublin City Female Entrepreneur Awards were announced at the DCEB Networking event at Wood Quay Venue on 12th December 2010.
The winner of the Most Improved Business Award was Deirdre Hardiman, Hepburn Designs (www.hepburndesigns.ie).
The prize is a Perpetual trophy, €1000 cash, a €500 DCEB voucher and a Certificate.

The winner of the ‘Rising Star’ Award 2011 was Joanna Norton of Click4ESOL (www.click4esol.com). The prize is €500 in cash, a €500 DCEB voucher and a Certificate.

2009
Most Improved Business Award
The Winner of the 2009 Award for the Most Improved Business in the Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women in 2009 was Karen Brown of Chic Commodities (www.chiccommodities.com ). She won the perpetual trophy, €500 cash and €500 worth of DCEB training vouchers. Karen’s company Chic Commodities is a leading distributor of “ethical and green” brands including an organic fake tan retail range, a professional spray tan, an organic skincare range for men and pure mineral cosmetics. Karen has grown the business from 2 to 7 people over a 2 year period. Among the company’s achievements in 2009 were rolling out of their brands to stockists nationwide, being selected by SFA as Best Emerging New Business 2009 and launching their own brand.
Rising Star Award
The Winner of the 2009 Rising Star award in the Dublin City Enterprise Network for Women in 2009 was Agata Stoinska of D-Lite Studios (http://d-lightstudios.com ). She won €500 worth of DCEB training vouchers. Agata’s company D-Lite Studios rents studio space for photographers, television crews, theatre companies, exhibitions, creative workshops, seminars, fashion shows. Working as a photographer Agata wanted an innovative creative space to work in and provide a space for a multitude of creative disciplines. They have held exhibitions and also had a one day art festival which showed more than 30 artists.
