Getting Dublin Business Online

Getting Irish Business Online is a partnership between Google, Blacknight Internet Solutions, An Post and the County & City Enterprise Boards and is providing an opportunity to the 40% of Irish SMEs including sole traders that do not have a website or an online presence.

Blacknight Solutions will provide participants with a free website, and hosting with a .ie, .eu or .com domain name which is free for one year from the set-up of their website. Google will also provide a trial of online advertising with a coupon worth €100.

Description:

The Getting Irish Business Online campaign will support businesses and sole traders to build a fully functional website by the end of the session which is the first step to building an online business.

This training is suitable to:

• Create a free website to promote your business
• Individuals who may not be technically minded
• All business sectors

Within your training session you will:

• Register Your Website Name .ie*, .eu or .com
• Step by Step guide to building your free Website
• Choose your theme/style for your website
• Add Images to your online gallery (Optional)
• Update your contact details
• Create a Google map of your location (Optional)
• Receive a Google Ads trial – a coupon worth €100 to advertise your website online

Outcomes:

• Have your registered website activated by the end of the training(depending on internet traffic)       
• Have an understanding on how to update/maintain and edit your website
