In today’s market more and more Dublin City SMEs are looking to expand into international markets in order to grow their business and increase their profits.
Taking your enterprise to international markets can expose the business to a host of new opportunities and become a major driver of growth and revenues. However, the legal and tax implications cannot be overlooked and when each country in which an owner-manager plans to do business has its own set of rules, the pitfalls are as numerous as the opportunities.
There are various areas that Dublin City enterprises need to address when considering growing a business abroad, these include how to structure the expansion into foreign markets, structuring of finance to ensure that a tax deduction is allowed for interest arising, transfer pricing consideration and ensuring that the SME has the skilled workforce to enhance the operational effectiveness.
The Small Firms Association in conjunction with Deloitte are hosting a seminar for those Dublin City enterprises that are thinking of growing their business abroad, on Thursday, 20th October at Confederation House, 84-86 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2. Registration takes place from 8.30am and the seminar commences at 9.00am sharp.
