Showcase 2012 - Subsidised Stands Available
Dublin City Enterprise Board are booking a limited number of stands at Showcase 2012 in the RDS and the deadline to apply for a subsidised stand is November 11th.
Showcase 2012, Ireland's Creative Expo, takes place from 22nd - 25th January 2012.
Showcase is a valuable platform for unique, design-led fashion, jewellery, gifts, interiors, craft and knitwear enterprises to display their products and services.
Please note: the deadline to apply for a subsidised stand is November 11th 2011.
The Dublin City Enterprise Board is booking a limited number of stands along the balcony area in the Main Hall of the RDS (in the 'County and City Enterprise Boards' area).
The subsidised cost is €500 for a shell scheme and 2x2 stand that includes signage and two spotlights only. Enterprises that wish to book a stand with Dublin City Enterprise Board, must dress their own stand with their own furniture and display equipment.
Criteria
- Full-time business based in Dublin city only
- Members of the Craft Council of Ireland
- Priority will go to clients who participated in Designer Dublin and produce their product in Dublin city

Features at Showcase 2012 will include an awards ceremony for the best products at the expo. The Top 50 New Products will be displayed at the expo. There will also be a trends area, an enterprise zone, retail seminars and networking events.
The trends area will display the products and trends to watch for 2012. The displays will also inform Dublin city enterprises how to merchandise what you buy, to create points of sale that stand out within a shop or business.
The Enterprise Zone will be located on the balcony and will showcase new talent supported by County Enterprise Boards. SMEs in the Enterprise Zone have unique products to display and sell.
Guest speakers in the Retail Seminars area will be discussing topics including business development, merchandising, and trends forecasting. One-to-one confidential mentoring clinics will be available in the Retail Seminars area for advice and guidance on how to survive through the current economic downturn and how to develop and create points of difference within retail environments.
Networking at the expo offers enterprises the opportunity to build and develop beneficial relationships with relevant and similar businesses attending Showcase 2012. A welcome reception takes place on Saturday November 21st, in Bewley’s Hotel.
