The greatest asset of any business is the employees. The 'Taking Care of Business' event on December 6th will provide business owners and managers with an understanding of how to ensure that this most valuable of assets is protected at work and meeting their full potential.

The Health and Safety Authority wants to work with small business owners and managers in Dublin city to show how simple it can be to minimise accidents in the workplace. Fewer accidents mean increased profits.
This training is suitable to:
- Owners and managers of small businesses in Dublin city
- Health and safety representatives
- Supervisors and employees interested in health and safety
- Any enterprise with a small business as a supplier
Topics covered include:
- Top tips for addressing the most common workplace safety and health hazards
- Introduction to the online tool BeSMART for undertaking a risk assessment and preparing a safety statement for the business
- Health and Safety Authority advisors will be available at the event for all confidential queries
The Health and Safety Authority will be demonstrating BeSMART at the event, a new free online tool for carrying out risk assessments and developing safety statements. All attendees will receive immediate access and can use the online tool in the workplace after the event.
