Dublin Fashion Week kicks off next Monday, March 12th with a line up of over 30 labels showcasing their Autumn/ Winter 07 collections in The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St Stephens Green, Dublin 2, Ireland.
This is the fourth season of Dublin Fashion Week and with it there have been constant developments and several events added to the bill. Monday 12th March and Tuesday 13th March we will have “The Talks”. This season we have the designer and marketing guru behind Motorola’s new Razr handset, Ignacio Germade coming in, as well as Eddie Shanahan, a business consultant specialising in fashion and retail. These are likely to be in high demand as they are on a purely first come, first served basis with tickets available at the door of The Fitzwilliam Suite (Lr Ground Floor) at the Fitzwilliam Hotel for a nominal fee of only €5, so be sure and get there early. Joanne Hynes will be staging the First fashion show (a preview of her A/W 07 Collection) at Motorola presents Dublin Fashion Week in the Mansion House, Dawson St, Dublin 2 at 1pm on Wednesday March 14th (doors open at 12.30). A limited number of tickets for sale will be available at the door. Matthew Williamson is staging the Gala show on Wednesday evening 14th March in the Mansion House, Dawson St, Dublin 2. This will be the first time that Matthew has shown in Ireland and since he moved his collections show to New York five years ago, adding to a momentous occasion with Matthew appearing for the evening.
