Start-up companies have traditionally found it difficult to obtain a Merchant Services account to process card payments and those lucky enough to be approved can pay very high rates for the privilege.  PayPal is an option but their rates are typically higher and they do not accept Laser cards which is a major stumbling block for Irish businesses today.

• Website content and T&Cs where applicable

Note:
If your merchant account application is rejected by the Merchant Services Bank Lucey will refund your first month’s subscription.The process can take from 3 to 5 weeks for your application to be processed providing that you submit all requested documentation promptly.

Who should apply?
 Businesses that are going to process more than €1,500 a month. If it is less than €1,500 we recommend PayPal as the saving will not be large enough to justify the application process.
 Businesses and proprietors with no previous history of insolvency or bankruptcy.
