KEA European Affairs is currently completing a study on the “Analysis of the needs, best practices and financing opportunities for the creative sector in Europe.” Commissioned by Nantes Métropole, this research takes place in the context of ECCE Innovation, a pan-European project supported by the European Union (Interreg Programme), aiming at fostering the innovation capacity of creative industries in order to access new markets.

The study will provide an overview of creative businesses in Europe and ECCE Innovation cities (Nantes, Aachen, Eindhoven, Stuttgart, Birmingham, Cardiff and Dublin) in particular, assessing their specific financing needs and challenges as well as identifying existing financing instruments in countries covered by the Project. Finally, specific policy recommendations covering the financing aspects of the sector will also be provided.

The report should be presented to the public at the Start West conference organized in Nantes on 19-20 May while its recommendations will be forwarded to policy-makers across Europe and at EU level.

To make sure that the report takes into account creative businesses’ views, we would like to give you the opportunity to provide your comments on the barriers and opportunities experienced by your business in accessing financial support in the ECCE areas (i.e. UK, France, The Netherlands and Germany) and beyond.

In order to integrate your comments in the report, we would like to ask you to complete the survey by the deadline of 24 March.

We thank you for your precious contribution!
