Emergent Events Ltd was established for the purpose of staging the biggest street performance festival in the world, the Street Performance World Championship. By attracting high quality street entertainment from all around the world, Emergent Events intends to bring to Dublin an equivalent of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival or London's Notting Hill Carnival. A festival of this scale and structure does not exist anywhere in the world.
