Brief Programme Description
For those wishing to start their own business Dublin City Enterprise Board and FÁS have combined to offer a Start Your Own Business course for individuals to obtain and/or develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the marketing and financial viability of their business idea/project. The course will include three hours of mentoring.
The “Start Me Up” Course
This course is to provide individuals seeking to start their own business the skills, management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively. It will help individuals gauge what will be required in order to keep their new venture running effectively and efficiently. (FÁS training element free of charge by FÁS)

- Employment legislation
- Finance for Enterprise
- Taxation
- Business Plan Development
Mentoring & Networks
On completion of the Start Your Own Business Course you can avail of 3 hours one to one mentoring with one of our Mentors. At the end of the course and when you feel ready, just email info@dceb.ie and ask to meet with a mentor.
